This beautiful red and brown jasper stone with a touch of gold, is a subtle dramatic design.  it is 5/8" in length and 7/8" fanned out at the bottom width.  It is set in silver with a sterling chain.   It would be a beautiful addition to anyone's jewelry collection. 

Cherry Creek Mine Jasper was discovered in 2010 so has a relatively short history but has become a very popular gemstone.  Jasper is usually 6.5-7 on the Mohs hardness scale and is the chalcedony family. 

Jasper is a traditional March birthstone as found in ancient Russia, Italian and Hebrew writings.   And is the 43 Wedding Anniversary gemstone.

To care for jasper, just wash in a warm and soapy water using a soft cloth.  Dry thoroughly before storing.
