These beautiful drop earrings are made of sterling silver and Colorado Amazonite which is the state gemstone of Colorado.  The stone is from Pikes Peak, CO.

The drop earrings are 1.5 inches long and are a classy design. 

It is believed to have been made into jewelry since the 10^th Century BC and has been found in Ancient Egypt in the treasures of Tutankhamen. 

It is in the feldspar family and a 6- 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale.   Caring for this gemstone is simply with soap and water and a soft cloth.  Don’t use harsh chemicals on it. 

The stone was made by the God of Creation.  All silverwork and gemstone work were done by Artist Mark Nelson in our Estes Park, CO studio.
